General Inventory Control

General inventory tracking is a breeze with ForwardSales Inventory solution. Users record inventory entering the warehouse using a purchase order receipt transaction.  Inventory can be transferred, scrapped, and adjusted as needed. Inventory is reduced as items are shipped. Inventory managers gain insight into inventory levels, reorder points, upcoming shipments and sales.

Mobile Vehicle Inventory Control

Mobile Truck inventory is easy to handle with ForwardSales.  Each truck is a location. Inventory items are received or transferred in. Inventory can be counted, transferred, scrapped, or adjusted as needed. As the driver uses inventory an OUT transaction can be used to record the usage. These OUT transaction can then be used for billing. Each location can have safety stock, reorder quantities, and auditing to make sure everyone sees what is happening.

Vendor Managed Inventory Control

An inventory person comes around to check on levels periodically and places a replenishment order.  The items are delivered shortly to keep supply at the required level.

Service Provider Inventory Control

Service provides often receive inventory from the company they provide service for. As these items come in, they need to be tracked, stored, and then recorded as used on the specific job. With ForwardSales, you receive product in using a IN Warehouse transaction. You can record purchase order, serial number, or lot number. Inventory can be put away and stored for a period of time.  Items are moved on to a service truck using the OUT Warehouse transaction. Service technicians can capture the end location or simply record them as used. usage information and billing information can be generated as inventory items are consumed.

Light Assembly, Growing, Mixing or Manufacturing

Does your company assemble or create a product from a few other items. ForwardSales allows user to create Item Kits. Item Kits are made up of other items. As the assembly, mixing, or manufacturing process completes, items are received into inventory using a Finished Good Receipt transaction. The Finished Good Receipt Transaction will back flush the component items in the Item Kit.
