Pallet Handling
Pallet delivery is a common process that has not changed much. Items are stacked on a pallet, shrink wrapped, a bar coded license plate is added to the pallet, and the pallets are loaded on the truck. FwdMbl Solutions brings improved tracking, visibility, and efficiency to the process. Our POD solution allows the driver to quickly scan pallets on and off the truck. If there is a problem, It gives drivers the ability to correct the problem, accurately record the delivery no matter what events may occur, then report back the details and exceptions to the back office. Pallet scans, whether missed or not, become a permanent part of the POD transaction.
Returnable Handling
Returnables are items you leave with a customer as part of the shipping process and generally expect to get back. Returnable items are often Pallets, Skids, Buckets, or other special containers used in the shipping process. Our POD Solution gives your enterprise tracking and counting options to take control of returnables. POD orders with returnable information are fed into our Asset Tracking and Inventory Management. This gives you transactional insight into the process. Information is available for other systems by API and Web Portal.
